7 Days Self Drive Road Trip in Southern Iceland – Day 3

Day 3 – Laugarvatn > Gullfoss (magnificent waterfall) > Strokkur (geyser) > Seljalandsfoss (spectacular waterfall) > Skogafoss (broad waterfall) > Skammidalur Guesthouse (near Vik town)

We had pretty good rest at the super spacious Golden Circle Apartment. I started day 3 with a morning jog over to the nearby Laugarvatn Fontana (a famous geothermal bath in that area). They were also famous with the geothermal baked bread. Managed to catch the moment of sun rise over the Lake Laugarvatn.

Christmas Eve Staycation – DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur

This year Christmas was celebrated in new way, a short staycation at city center of Kuala Lumpur with simple reason which is to truly immerse ourselves in the comfort and facilities provided by the hotel. Since the city area might be less crowded due to the long weekend with extended public holiday, it will be good time to walk around the city center too, which we seldom do.

We always enjoy staying in hotel with executive or club lounge where you could chill there all day long.
