The Berry Tale, Bukit Jalil

Another newly discovered place for hang out and eat well menu, thanks to recommendation by our friend, Jess. This café is located at a less visited corner of Bukit Jalil, The Link 2. The Link 2 is a mixed development area, with shops and condominiums. The area is starting to get some crowds with the opening of few cafes; among them would be this worth trying “The Berry Tale Café”.

It is at the first floor of the shop row. The setting of the café is simple with no partition, with one look we can see the whole area of the café the moment we stepped in. The façade was installed with all glass windows without blinds or curtains so could have a good view of the Bukit Jalil park and natural sun light.

This café emphasizes on eat well menu and both of the signature section in menu are serving dishes focus on vegie and fiber intake. First signature section is made out of dishes with cauliflower rice, brown rice or quinoa as their main. Second signature section is made out of pasta with zucchini infuse as main. So if you order from the signature “EatWell” section, you will still feel lean after the meal; with just nice portion and not overly full.

After a few visits there, we had managed to try few selections from their menu. Overall, they are good, at least match our taste. Only thing is that if you are ordering the beetroot latte and expecting a latte art on top just like how they advertised in their downstairs banner, you might be disappointed. But other than this, the beetroot latte actually taste fine and they do serve tasty smoothies too!

Unlike the name suggests, you will not find many “Berry” ingredients in this café (other than the blissful berry smoothies). However, we guess the name is to let people who visit to have this healthy and cozy feel which they did delivered this message well in their food. Give it a try!
